Writing Class

 Last New Year's Eve, I ended up doing nothing because I was studying for my exams. This year's New Year's Eve was the first time in a long time that I got together with my good friends. This New Year's Eve, I watched a singing show because my favorite TV show didn't play. Many of my favorite singers were on the show, so it was very interesting. Afterward, we all went to the shrine. I prayed that I would be able to stay healthy this year without getting injured or sick. I also prayed to make more money.

 This Christmas, I went back to my hometown and had a Christmas party at my friend's house. Last year, I had to take the university entrance exam, so I studied regardless of Christmas. So this Christmas was the first time in a long time that I was able to hang out with my friends. At the Christmas party, we were going to have a gift exchange, so first we went to the shopping center to buy gifts. I was very worried because I had to keep my budget within 1,500 yen. In the end, we decided to buy 150 pieces of 10 yen sweets. At the party, we ate chicken, played games, and had a lot of fun. We also exchanged gifts with each other and had a great time.

     Today I listened to an English podcast about beauty. They talked about problems bilingual people have and beautiful people in England and Japan. Minao had a problem not getting enough chances to speak Japanese because she had classes in English at uni. Also, she thought the best way to learn the language is to talk many times and not try to shut up.       

Recently, I watch anime for about 4 hours every day. There are many and famous anime in Japan. I'll introduce 2 anime I watch recently. First, "Demon Slayer". It is called "Kimetsu no Yaiba" in Japan. This anime was broadcast the last year and it became so popular. These days, 2nd season is broadcast. I read all original comic books, so I know the detail. But, in animation, I can watch this story with a voice. I'm so excited. The second one is "Attack on Titan". It is called "Shingeki no Kyozin" in Japan. It is also known well around the world. The attractiveness is its contents. All things in this anime are connected and there are many foreshadows. So, I watch it again and again.

 I finished exams and felt so relieved. I went to YOASOBI concerts in Nippon Budokan, Tokyo. I had been looking forward to it for 3 months and it made me do my best for exams.  YOASOBI is a musical group. Their concept is to install novels into music. So, their all music is based on each novel. Recently, they released English version songs, so they become more popular around the world.  The concert title was "NICE TO MEET YOU" because this is the first time to hold a manned concert.  They only held online concerts due to the coronavirus. I listened to their song many times. When I listened to their voice in person, I was so impressed and moved. I won't forget this experience forever.

 I read an article about Heavily Mutated Omicron Variant Puts Scientists on Alert. It explains a newly mutated virus emerging in South Africa. The mutated virus was named Omicron by WHO. Researchers hadn't understood it, so there are some anecdotal report now. Omicron changes its body consistence, so maybe vaccine doesn't work.
